At Soho Beds, we’re committed to making your delivery experience as smooth and stress-free as possible. Below you’ll find all the important details about our delivery process, timeframes, locations we serve, and what to expect when your new bed is on its way.
1. Delivery Areas
We currently deliver only to addresses within mainland UK, including England, Wales, and most areas of Scotland.
We do not ship to Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, or international destinations.
2. Delivery Times
We offer Express Delivery on all beds. Here’s how it works:
- Once your bed is ready to ship, we will call you the next day to arrange your preferred delivery date.
- We aim to deliver your order within 5–7 working days from the date it is placed.
Once your bed is ready to ship, our team will call to arrange a delivery date. - On the morning of your delivery, our courier will contact you with a 1-hour delivery time slot, so you’re not left waiting all day.
- We strive to meet these timeframes, though slight delays may occur during peak times, holidays, or due to unforeseen courier issues.
3. Delivery Process
Here’s what you can expect when your order is ready:
- Order Confirmation – You’ll receive an email confirmation immediately after your order is placed.
- Production Phase – Your bed will be crafted in our UK facility.
- Scheduling Call – Once it’s ready, we’ll call you to arrange a delivery date that suits you.
- Delivery Day – Our courier will deliver your bed to your door, providing a 1-hour time slot on the day.
- Our standard delivery is to the front door of your property. Please ensure someone is available to accept and sign for the delivery.
4. Missed or Failed Deliveries
If no one is home at the arranged time:
- The courier may attempt redelivery, but a redelivery fee may apply.
- In some cases, your item may be taken to a local depot or warehouse for collection or rescheduling.
- To avoid this, we strongly recommend:
- Double-checking your contact details and delivery address at checkout
- Ensuring someone is available at the delivery address on the scheduled date
If your delivery address is not serviceable, we will contact you before dispatch to discuss alternative arrangements or issue a refund.
5. Delivery Restrictions
Please note the following:
- We are unable to deliver to PO Boxes
- Deliveries may be delayed during adverse weather, public holidays, or peak seasons
- If you live in an apartment building or have access restrictions (e.g., gated properties), please let us know in advance
6. Delivery Charges
Delivery is free of charge for all orders delivered to most UK mainland locations. - Remote area surcharges (if applicable) will be quoted at checkout or via customer service before confirming your order. Any applicable delivery charges or remote area surcharges will be displayed during checkout before you complete your order.
7. Damaged or Incomplete Deliveries
If your order arrives damaged or with missing parts:
- Report it to us within 48 hours of delivery by emailing hello@sohobeds.co.uk with your order number and supporting photos.
- We will work with you to arrange replacements or repairs at no extra cost.
8. Tracking Your Order
We do not currently offer real-time tracking, but:
- You will receive a call from our team to confirm the delivery date
- On the day of delivery, the courier will notify you of your 1-hour delivery window
- If you need an update, you can contact our support team at hello@sohobeds.co.uk or via phone.
9. Special Requests
If you need help with:
- Holding delivery for a specific future date
- Access issues at your property
- Coordinating with your installer or decorator
- Just let us know when placing your order or during the scheduling call – We’ll do our best to accommodate your request.
